Three found Dead after wolf killed two pigs and attempted to murder a third in Baconville on Thursday.

Residents were shocked when news of the murders came in.

The wolf that was accused of destroying two homes within the community died yesterday while attempting to break into a third. The wolf was found dead in a kettle of boiling water by the fireplace.

Along with the wolf were the survivor’s brothers. The two homes that were destroyed belonged to the pigs. Little was recovered from the scene of the crime, and bodies are yet to be recovered.

Thomas R. Pigg of 578 Wallow Drive claimed that he had taken shelter when he saw the wolf. Pigg said, “Then I saw him get a ladder from the garage. I knew he was going to try for the roof.”

Though Pigg was saved, he wondered if his insurance would cover the damage to the chimney.

Pigg's mother said, "There has never been a time pigg hasn't worked his hardest, and it truly worked out well for him."

Leads from the statesman

What makes a good news story?

A strong lead makes a good news story. Of the five stories that were listed, I would probably read the one titled 'Finding new ways to lose'. Even though I am not a sports fan, I would be drawn to the article because of the fact that the lead and title were interesting enough.

The one that was most interesting to me was 'Finding new ways to lose'. What I think that the story is about is a criticizing report about the many ways the Texas longhorn team manages to lose. Though this is a very opinionated story, the way that it is started makes me think that it would turn out to be a very humorous report that is either critiquing or supportive.
